PRECIPITATION REACTION:Example: When barium chloride solution reacts with sodium sulphate solution, an insoluble white precipitate of barium sulphate and soluble salt sodium chloride is obtained.

NUTRALISATION REACTION: Example: When the alkali sodium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid, it forms salt and water.
