As we start studying time in physics then time can never be in the past.
But my dear friend , if we talk about it in english then it might be possible in past continuous tense. it is because in past continuous tense ,action is continued in past.
for example __
I was playing cricket in the Ram's playground.
this might satisfied u.
if u are satisfied then comment me.
I am waiting...........
And come over from obstacles.
