Let the present age of C is x years ,
Therefore,
Age of B = twice of C = 2x years
Age of A = 2 years more than age of B = ( 2x + 2 ) years
Given, total of the ages = 27
Age of A + age of B + age of C = 27
2x + 2 + 2x + x = 27
2x + 2x + x + 2 = 27
5x + 2 = 27
5x = 27 - 2
5x = 25
x = 25 / 5
x = 5
Thus,
Age of B = 2x years = 2( 5 ) years = 10 years.
Hence, age of B is 10 years
Therefore,
Age of B = twice of C = 2x years
Age of A = 2 years more than age of B = ( 2x + 2 ) years
Given, total of the ages = 27
Age of A + age of B + age of C = 27
2x + 2 + 2x + x = 27
2x + 2x + x + 2 = 27
5x + 2 = 27
5x = 27 - 2
5x = 25
x = 25 / 5
x = 5
Thus,
Age of B = 2x years = 2( 5 ) years = 10 years.
Hence, age of B is 10 years
