  • in uniform circular motion,speed is constant. but, velocity changes, because,velocity is a vector quantity and in circular motion direction changes continuously.

Accelerated motion takes place when an object changes its speed or direction. Uniform circular motion is accelerated because in the circular motion there is a continuous change in direction of motion that leads to change in the velocity. Therefore circular motion is an acceleration motion as the direction is changing even the speed remains constant.
