The "SENT" folder in any mail box is used to store the emails which we send to our friends.

Let me make it clear, an "OUTBOX" is a folder which stores all the outgoing e-mail messages but on a temporary basis.  When we compose any message, initially they are automatically saved as "DRAFT". Then this message is stored in the outbox until it is successfully sent to the recipient.

After the mails are sent completely, the respective mails get saved in "SENT" folder which can be accessed anytime for future purpose.
