Field at the 2nd face E₂ = 2x = 2a    ( as x = a)

hence net field = 0 + 2a = 2a

We know that flux is given as,

Φ = E.S = 2a x a² = 2a³

Applying gauss law,

Φ = q/ε₀

=> q = Φε₀

=> q = 2a³ε₀
