Is vegetative propagation also a type of asexual reproduction? why do you say so?Is the term clone applicable to the offspring formed by vegetative propagation?

Yes,vegetative propagation is a type of asexual reproduction. Because only one plant is involved in production of genetically identical offspring.Yes the term clone is applicable to the offspring resulted by vegetative because, offspring is the copy of its parent. Hope it helps.
