no velocity is not constant in uniform circular motion the tenjencial direction of motion of an object moving in a circular path changes continuously.

✔ velocity is a vector whereas speed is scalar.
✔ in a uniform circular motion the speed remains constant.
✔ but the velocity changes its direction at each instant of time.
✔ so velocity vector is not constant.
