Velu, fearing his drunkard father, ran away from home. His father was highly addicted to drinking. His father physically tormented Velu and his sister after drinking alcohol. Therefore, a eleven year old child Velu, boarded the train and came to Chennai.
Since he was a small boy, he felt hungry and tired naturally. The loneliness created him miserable moments. He was disappointed when the train journey was over.
