The complement of a set using Venn diagram is a subset of U. Let U be the universal set and let A be a set such that A ⊂ U. Then, the complement of A with respect to U is denoted by A' or AC or U – A or ~ A and is defined the set of all those elements of U which are not in A. Thus, A' = {x ∈ U : x ∉ A}.

Step-by-step explanation:

The representation of sets in the pictures like Circles ,triangles ,rectangles is called Venn diagrams.

John Venn and Euler introduced these type of representation.

It is very useful to represents the given set in the diagrams.

It is easy to find the cardinal number of the given set.

A diagram contains all elements is its cardinality.

The picture contains all distinct elements in it.
