They give oxygen and they also do photosynthesis because photosynthesis is a process that is done in presence of air and water means oxygen and H2o so it have oxygen but weed is a dried form of grass and every plants are required to do photosynthesis if they have colour.

it depends on other plants and does not produce oxygen and don't do photosynthesis
