What is Weightlessness?

The phenomenon in which the body is under influence of gravity and the resultant weight is zero is called weightlessness. It occurs when an object is in air falling gradually towards the ground or going far away from the ground.

At higher altitude Or at a greater height, gravitational force on a body decreases and atmospheric pressure increases and therefore body feels weightlessness .
