Under normal conditions wood is a bad conductor of electricity.
Wood isn't considered as a conductor but an insulator.
Electricity doesn't pass through wood thus making it an insulator.
But when we look on it from a different angle that a damp or wet wood is a conductor of electricity we can't call wood as an insulator.
Wood in wet or damp state is a conductor of electricity but in its dry state is an insulator restricting the flow of electricity through it.
So, we can say wood is a conductor as well as insulator depending on its condition.
