⭐️ EXPRESSION ➡️ WORK = FORCE × DISPLACEMENT.

⭐️ BOTH FORCE AND DISPLACEMENT ARE VECTOR QUANTITIES.

⭐️ BUT, SINCE WORK HAS A DEFINITE MAGNITUDE AND NOT DEFINITE DIRECTION , IT IS CONSIDERED TO BE A SCALAR QUANTITY.

[ CONCLUSION ➡️ Maximum students will write work a vector quantity. But we, the brainly members (students) should always go through the correct one. ]

Work is a scalar quantity.

As we know ,

Vector product = Cross Product

bar (A) × bar(B) = AB sin theta

Scalar Product = Dot product

bar(A)•bar(B) = AB cos theta

Work = Force × Displacement

W = Bar(F)•Bar(S) = F cos theta• S .

#Hence Proved that work is a scalar quantity .

#Be Brainly !!
