In other words, work done due to displacement caused by a force is a scalar quantity. The dot product of vector quantities is always scalar which means it is has only magnitude and no direction.

Answer:

work done has a scalar quantity...

because..

work = force x displacement

but here displacement is a vector quantity ..but it does not more....

because the dot product of scalar quantity is always scalar....

so, work done has scalar quantity...
