Extra info:---

  • Voice is the form of the verb which shows whether the subjects acts or is acted upon. There areare two types of voices;

  • When the subject of the sentence is the doer or actor, the verb is active.

  • When the subject of the sentence is acted upon, the verb is passive.

  • In the passive voice, sometimes the object is understood. In changing such sentences into the Active Voice the object has to be mentally supplied and then formed into the subject.

  • The passive voice of verbs with two objects is formed by changing either of the two objects into the subject, and retaining the other as the object called retained object.
