NO , IT IS NOT factor of polynomial x^3-x^2-(2+√2)x+√2

X+1 = 0

X = -1

P[-1] = [-1]³-[-1]²-(2+√2)[-1] + √2

P[-1] = -1-1+2+√2+√2

==> -2+2+√2+√2

==> 0+2√2

==> 2√2  IS NOT EQUAL TO 0
