According to Factor theorem, if (x-2) is a factor of f(x)= (x^4-2x-12) then f(2)=0

Checking if f(2) = 0
f(2)=2^4-2(2)-12 = 16-4-12=0.

As f(2)=0, therefore (x-2) is a factor of [ x^4 -2x-12].
Hope helped!
