Hi ,
From the figure ,
i ) 40° + x + 25° = 180° [ straight angle ]
=> x + 65° = 180°
x = 180° - 65°
x = 115°
ii ) z = 40° ( vertically opposite angles )
iii ) Now ,
x + 25° + z
= 115° + 25° + 40°
= 180°
Therefore ,
x , 25° , z° form a straight angle .
[ Sum of Two adjecent
angles makes 180° is
called linear pair ]
Here , we have three
angles .
