Hey there
--------------

We have

f ( x ) = 2x² + 5x + 3

To verify :- Whether -3 is its zero or not

putting x = -3, to obtain

→ f ( x ) = 0

→ 2( -3 ) ² + 5 ( - 3) + 3 =0

→ 2 × 9 - 15 + 3 = 0

→ 21 - 15 =0

→ 6 ≠ 0

Hence -3 isn't a zero of f ( x )

Hope this may help you
