is (x-7) a factor of (x^2-5x+24)

Answer:

p(x)=x²-5x+24. zeros of x-7=0. p(7) = 7²-5(7)+24 x=7

=49-35+24

=34

therefore the sumia not zero so x-7 is not a factor of p(x)
