Is (x+a) square= (2x+5) square same as x+a=2x+5?
If this property of a square = b square, then a= b will give only one value for x, instead of two values.
So my question comes to the statement: (x+a) square= (2x+5) square same as x+a=2x+5 cannot be true?
I know the reverse is true. That is if (x+a) = (2x+5), then their squares are equal.

please calrify
