So.. Let f(x) = x^49 +49
If we divide it by (x+1)..then the remainder is.. (By remainder theorem)=f(-1)=(1)^49 +49=-1+49=48

remainder will be 48

x^49 + 49 is divided by (x + 1) we have to find the remainder.

according to remainder Theorem , if y = f(x) is divided by (x + a) then, remainder will be f(-a).

from above theorem,

f(x) = x^49 + 49 is divided by (x + 1)

so, remainder = f(-1) = (-1)^49 + 49 = -1 + 49 = 48
