Is x- y/5 -10 same as 1.x -y/5 -10 ??? Pls help out!!

Yes because in the second case 1. Means one multiplied by x-y/5 -10 and a number multiplied by one will always be the same number....for example: 1.2=2 (Here . Stands for multiplication sign)
