Answer:

Given:-x^4+2x^3+x^2+x+1 =0

→ x^4+x^3+x^3+x^2+x+1=0

→ x^3(x+1) +x^2(x+1) +1(x+1) = 0

→ (x+1)(x^3+x^2+1) = 0

→ (x+1) = 0 or x^3+x^2+1=0

Now, x^3+x^2 +1 is not equal to 0.

So,x+1 = 0

→x = -1
