Red Loam Soil: These soilshave been formed by the decomposition of granite, gneiss charnocite and diorite rocks. It is cloddy, porous and deficient in concretionary materials. It is poorer in nitrogen, phosphorus and organic materials but rich in potash. Leaching is dominant.
