is zener diode and zener voltage is same????

shivamkuwrs164: the zenor diode is semiconductor in which both reverse current flow from them when zenor voltage reached.

Yes its same becoz
The zener diode is connected with its cathode terminal connected to the positive rail of the DC supply so it is reverse biased and will be operating in its breakdowncondition. ... The load is connected in parallel with the zener diode, so thevoltage across RL is always the same as the zener voltage,
