190$ as for 30 hours she gets 285$ and other 20 hours are left so per hour she gets 285$/30=9.5$ so for 20 hours 9.5$*20 = 190$

The amount of money she will get paid during the second week of the two weeks is $ 190.00.

Given: Isabella worked 50 hours over the past two weeks. During the first week of the two weeks, she worked 30 hours and got paid $285.00.

To Find: The amount of money she will get paid during the second week of the two week-span.

Solution:

It is said that Isabella has to work 50 hours in 2 weeks.

The number of hours worked in the first week = 30 hours

The number of hours left to be worked in the second week = (50-30)

                                                                                                    = 20 hours

The amount of money paid for the first week = $ 285.00

Now, to find the amount of money she will get in the second week, we shall use the unitary method.

The amount of money earned for working 30 hours = $ 285.00

∴ the amount of money earned for working 1 hour = $ ( 285.00 / 30 )

                                                                                       = $ 9.5

∴ the amount of money earned for working 20 hours = $ ( 9.5 × 20 )

                                                                                            = $ 190.00

Hence, the amount of money she will get paid during the second week of the two weeks is $ 190.00.
