1) Antonio blamed a bunch of drunken, incompetent sailors ( the wide-chopped rascal).The boatswain is the wide chopped rascal.He call him so because he cheated on them.
3) These lines were said by Gonzalo that he'll still die by hanging ,not drowning and even every drop of water in the sea tries to swallow him.
5) Gonzalo said that he is ready to give away a thousand furlongs if sea in exchange of one acre of dry land because he don't want to die in water,he think tha whats destined to happen will happen,but I'll guve anything to be dry when I die.
