Isha bought two dozen eggs for Rs.56.Since 6 of them broke,she incurred a loss of Rs.20 on selling the remaining of them.What was the selling price of one egg?

Total eggs bought = 12 x 2 = 24 eggs

So, the C. P. of 24 eggs = 56

6 eggs broke and remaining = 18 eggs

Loss = Rs 20

So, selling price of remaining 18 eggs  must be = 56 - 20 = Rs 36

Now, S.P. of 18 eggs = 36

S.P. of one egg = 36 ÷ 18 = 2

So, the Selling Price of one egg = Rs 2 ---------------- Ans
