Answer:

Suresh got more quantity since glass type B has a larger volume.

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine who got more quantity of juice to drink, we will have to get the capacity of each glass.

First we get the capacity of the cylindrical part.

This is given by:

Volume = 3.142 × 3² × 10 = 282.78 cm³

Glass Type A:

We need to get the volume of the hemispherical bottom.

Formula: 2/3πr³

Substituting we have: 3.142 × 2/3 × 3³ = 56.556 cm³

Volume of the glass = 282.78 cm³ - 56.556 cm³ = 226.224 cm³

Glass Type B:

The volume of the conical part:

Volume = 1/3πr²h

= 1/3 × 3.142 × 3² × 1.5 = 14.139 cm³

Volume of the glass = 282.78 cm³ - 14.139 cm³ = 268.641 cm³
