After x years:

Age of Ishaan =(72+x) years

Age of William = (4+x) years

According to the problem given,

72+x = 5(4+x)

=> 72 + x = 20 + 5x

=> 72 - 20 = 5x - x

=> 52 = 4x

=> 4x = 52

=> x = 52/4

=> x = 13

Therefore,

After 13 years Ishaan is only

5 times as old as William.
