Ishi applied a force of 20 N on a box of mass 10kg.She found that by applying this force,she was able to double the velocity of the box in 8 s.The initial velocity of the box is: * 1 point 4m/s 8m/s 32 m/s 16 m/s

Answer:

16m/s

Explanation:

Let V=2U

F=20N

m=10kg

T=8sec

F=m×a

20 =10×a

a=2m/sec^2

V=U+at

2U=U+at

U=2×8=16m/sec

Last Option:-16m/sec

Answer:

Initial velocity fo the object = 16m/s

Explanation:

let us first write all the givenr unit then it will become a bit easier for us :-

force = 20N

mass = 10kg

initial velocity = u

final velocity = 2u ( because Ishi was able to double it's velocity )

time = 8s

Now, first we will find out the acceleration

v = u + at

2u = u + a(8) [ By putting the values ]

2u = u + 8a

u + 8a = 2u

8a = 2u - u

8a = u

a = \frac{u}{8}

Now. we will put this into the formula of force

F = ma

20 = 10 * \frac{u}{8}

20 = 5 * \frac{u}{4}

\frac{u}{4} = \frac{20}{5}

\frac{u}{4} = 4\\

u = 4 * 4

u = 16m/s

please mark me as branliest and the coolest thing is i am in 9th standard and i have solved the 11th standard question. Like Wow!

Thank you :-)
