Kolkata, 24th December:  The 150th birth anniversary of the great educatuonist and social activist was celebrated with respect and honour in every educational institute if Kolkata.  Our school honoured the great erudite by holding a function in his memory.

Children of the primary section enacted some of the stories from his primer 'Borno Porichoy'.  Class ten gave a wonderful PowerPoint Presentation on his life.

There was a Speech Competition in 'Women Empowerment'.  Our school captain recited a poem written by Sri Vidyasagar.  

Our Principal concluded the program by sharing many anecdotes from the life of Vidyasagar.  

All in all it was a beautiful celebration.
