A plane is a flat surface. When a ray of light hits this flat surface, the ray is called the incident ray. As soon as this incident ray hits the plane, it bounces off, forming a reflected ray. The normal is a line drawn perpendicular to the plane, bisecting the angle formed by the incident ray and reflected ray.

Now, it is not possible for the incident ray to be on one plane and the same reflected ray to be on another because light always bounces off at the point of incidence (the point where the incident ray hits the plane). It is also not possible for the normal to be on a different plane because it always bisects at the point of incidence.

Thus, the incident ray, the reflected ray of the same incident ray, and the normal always lie on the same plane.

it means that the incident ray( means jo ray aa raha h mirror pe ) the normal and the reflected ray (means jo raj reflect jota h ) all lie in the same plane means sare ek jagah ek hi point pe lie hote h
