Explanation:

Answer:

The Bharatiya Kisan Union argued for higher government floor prices for sugarcane and wheat. They also demanded electricity at reasonable rates and give pension to the farmers. They also asked for waiving off of repayments to be made by farmers in lieu of loans. They led Jail bharo agitations and demonstrations to highlight the plight of farmers.

The movement led by the Bharatiya Kisan Union was extremely successful as the farmers of BKU became a prominent face in regional politics. The Union was also able to successfully organise resources and funds for its activities.
