Hydrogen is gas that burn with pop sounds.

The heat given off by the candle provides the activation energy required for the reaction that produces water from hydrogen and oxygen. This reaction is highly exothermic, producing the prodigious explosion.Pop sound indicates that the presence of a combustible gas which immediatelt catches fire as soon as it comes in contact with the fire. the gas could be hydrogen also as it is also very combustible gas.
