So you need to pay $4 to get into yhe fair. So subtract it from your money. Then divide the remaining by $2.50.

$21.50-$4= $17.50

$17.50÷2.50= 7

Answer: 7 rides

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Total money he has =$21.50
if it costs 4 $ to enter then the person will have
21.50-4.00
17.50

each ride costs$ 2.50

Then he can ride
 \frac{17.50}{2.50} = 7
He can ride about 7 rides in the fair
