SOLUTION:

Given:

It costs of Rs.2200 to paint the inner curved surface of a cylindrical vessel 10m deep. If the cost of painting is at the rate of Rs.20/m².

Therefore,

Inner curved surface area of the vessel.

Cost of painting;

Inner curved surface area × Rate of paint.

=)2200 =Inner curved surface area× 20

=)Inner curved surface area= 2200/20

=) Inner curved surface area= 110m²

Radius of base:

Let radius of cylinder be r.

Height,(h)= 10m

Curved surface area of cylinder= 110m².

We know that, formula of CSA;

=) 2πrh

 =  > 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 10 = 110 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{44}{7}  \times r \times 10 = 110 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{44}{7}  \times r = 11 \\ \\  =  > r =  \frac{11 \times 7}{44}  \\  \\  =  > r =  \frac{77}{44}  \\  \\  =  > r = 1.75m

Capacity of the vessel;

Height= 10m

Radius= 1.75m

Therefore,

Volume of the cylinder= πr²h.

 =  >  \frac{22}{7}  \times 1.75 \times 1.75  \times 10 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{22}{7}   \times 30.625 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{673.75}{7}  {m}^{3}  \\  \\  =  > 96.25 {m}^{3}

Hope it helps ☺️
