1. Red Litmus paper

• They turn blue when in contact of basic solution

• They remain red in Acidic solution

• They remain same in Neutral ones also.

2. Blue Litmus paper

• They remain blue when in contact of acidic solution

• They turn red in basic solution

• They remain same in Neutral ones.

For Identifying neutral solution:-

• We need to test it with both Litmus Paper.
• If no change, then its neutral.
