It has been observed that despite the availability of the vaccine for hepatitis A in the market, it may not be necessary to be given to children by the time they are five years of age. Why?

It may not be necessary to give a Hepatitis A vaccination to children when they are 5 years of old as by this time they develop immunity against hepatitis A.  

Explanation:

HAV infection is stopping in many of the countries and which is the common preventable infections obtained by travellers.  

Tools for stopping of HAV infection include injections, resistant globulin and observance to hygienic good practices. Humans are the reservoir for HAV.
