x=3−22–√

=(2+1)−22–√

=(2–√)2+12−2×2–√×1

Therefore x=(2–√−1)2

Now solve x−−√−1x√ by putting the value of

x which was

solved earlier..

(2–√−1)−−−−−−−√2−1(2√−1)√2

Cancel the square with the root.

2–√−1−(12√−1)

Now multiply both numerator and denominator of the fraction by 2–√+1 to rationalise it.

2–√−1−(2–√+1)

And the answer comes −2
