Answer:

he Earth rotates 1° in four minute. Thus if India is located to the east of Greenwich at 82°E, we will multiply 82.50 by 4 which will be 330 minutes or 5 hrs and 30 minutes. Therefore, the time in India is 5 hrs and 28 minutes ahead of London (since India is located to the east of Greenwich).

Explanation:

reason: IT IS BECAUSE OF THE PLACE OR THE LATITUDES AT WHICH THESE PLACES ARE PRESENT, THE IST( INDIAN STANDARD TIME) IS AT 82'30 AND THE GMT (GREENWICH MERIDIAN TIME) IS PRESENT AT THE 0 THE EARTH ROTATES FROM WEST TO EAST WHICH CAUSES THE SUNLIGHT TO REACH INDIA FASTER AND BEFORE GMT AT LONDON . SO IST IS 5 HRS.
