Average speed = Total distance/ time =320/8=40km/hr

(C) Average velocity of Plane :

Average velocity= Displacement/time Displacement of plane =260km [ it is straight path]

Displacement of plane=260/0.5=520km/hr and direction is from Patna to Ranchi straight.

{D) Average velocity of bus=260/8=32.5km/hr and direction is from Patna to Ranchi straight.
