Because cough and cold are contagious diseases which are easily transmissible and they r caused by rhino virus and they infect nose , respiratory track due to which there will be nasal congestion and discharge .
Droplets resulting from cough or sneezes of an infected person r either inhaled or transmitted through contaminated objects like pens, books, cups n cause infection in healthy person
