it is a common observation after a plant is sprayed with heavy dose of insecticide yellowish areas develop on the leaves. investigation shows that the cells have died. since insecticides are not poisonous to plants try giving reasons why the cells have died

2. Athough insecticides are not poisonous, they still have toxic chemicals which affect the chlorophyll in the leaves. this results in the leaves losing their green colour.
