It is a hot summer day. Priyanshi and Ali are wearing cotton and nylon clothes, respectively. Who do you think would be more comfportable and why?

Answer:cotton as it will absorb sweat more

and evaporation increases with increase in temp. which will cause more coolng effect

Priyanshi would be more comfortable.

reason -

Priyanshi is wearing cotton cloth, and cotton clothes absorbs sweat from body and provides a larger surface area for evaporation which causes more cooling effect.

Nylon being a bad absorber of water does not absorb sweat. Therefore, the sweat does not absorb from the body and Ali would feel uncomfortable.
