It is a known fact that it is the antibody of the recepient which react with the antigen of donor. Then why in erythroblastosis foetalis the anti rh antibody in -ve blood mother (developed during 1st delivery) who is the donor in this case reacting with the antigen of the 2nd baby who is the recipient?

this condition is known as Erythroblastosis fetalis. This occurs because of Rh incompatibility. In FIRST PREGNANCY, Rh sensitivity does not occur. it becomes a problem in SECOND PREGNANCY. hen mother antibody try to kill child's rbcs because of incompatibility of Rh factor,
Hemolytic diseases effect second babies after mother has become sensitized with first Rh positive baby.
