In Triangle ABC, angle A = 90°

AB = 3cm

AC = 4cm

BC = √AB² + AC²

= √3² + 4²

= 5cm

Ar semicircle with radius 3/2 + ar semicircle with radius 4/2 cm

= (area semicircle with radius 5/2cm - ar triangle ABC)

=π/2 × (5/2)² - 1/2 × 3 × 4

= 25/8π - 6 cm²

Area of shaded region =

π/2 × (3/2)² + π/2 × 2² - [ 25/8 - 6]

= π/2 [9/4 + 4 - 25/4] + 6

= π/2 [9/4 + 16-25/4] + 6

= π/2 [9/4 - 9/4] + 6

= 6 cm²
