Answer:
In Triangle ABC, angle A = 90°
AB = 3cm
AC = 4cm
BC = √AB² + AC²
= √3² + 4²
= 5cm
Ar semicircle with radius 3/2 + ar semicircle with radius 4/2 cm
= (area semicircle with radius 5/2cm - ar triangle ABC)
=π/2 × (5/2)² - 1/2 × 3 × 4
= 25/8π - 6 cm²
Area of shaded region =
π/2 × (3/2)² + π/2 × 2² - [ 25/8 - 6]
= π/2 [9/4 + 4 - 25/4] + 6
= π/2 [9/4 + 16-25/4] + 6
= π/2 [9/4 - 9/4] + 6
= 6 cm²
