it is also seen that basic solutions also contains h+ ions then why are they called basic?

it is because they contain more oh- ions than h+ ions..

Yes, The solution is basic because it also have hydrogen ions but in lower quantiity. But the concentration is less as compared to OH- ions that make the solution basic in nature
